Create a peace room for students to use to take breaks and relax.

How To:

Designate a space in school where students can take a break, process difficult or negative emotions, and relax. Offer supplies like tissues, water, information about available resources, and a comfy place to sit.

If possible, make this space near to the office of a mental health provider, like a school counselor, school psychologist, or social worker.

Tips & Suggestions:

  • Coordinate this project with a mental health provider at school to ensure that all students get any help they may need.
